Posted: 15 Feb 2011 12:40 AM PST Meet Stoool; I love this modern interpretation on a classic design. We normally see it rendered in metal but in naturally finished woods and brightly colored seats – it takes on a whole new life. Hey, I’ll take all three if you’re giving them away… cough, cough. Hikers Fall but They Can Get Up Posted: 15 Feb 2011 12:36 AM PST The Survival Hiking Bag creates a protective barrier in the form of an air bag which envelopes the body when a hiker falls. It releases automatically due to acceleration via CO2 compressed air. The bag extends the survival chances by reducing the level of injury when one falls off a cliff. The polyester material is waterproof and brightly colored to make it easier for rescuers to spot. Designers: Wong Hok Pan Sam & Lo Man Chun ---------- |

Posted: 15 Feb 2011 12:05 AM PST I am very grateful for the presence of the eneloop glitter edition in my life. If it were not for this rechargeable set, then I'd be at the store every other day, buying stock for my iMac peripherals! In an alternate situation, I wouldn't mind giving these Spark Winners, Charge Battery a chance. They're like the old fashioned winding toys; a few good twists to charge and I’m ready to go. So simple! Designers: Yeon Kyeong Hwang & Mieong Ho Kang ---------- |
Posted: 15 Feb 2011 12:03 AM PST The commute of the future is more like a three-wheel thrill ride aptly called 'Three Wheel Electric Scooter'. The joyride is full of spunk in the looks department with a detachable rechargeable battery pack to the left of the bike, displaying energy levels conspicuously. The magnetic, rubber encased locking cable adds security to the parking system. Moreover the two small front wheels guarantee equilibrium and a glorious ride. Designer: Hyun-Seok Kim ---------- |
Posted: 15 Feb 2011 12:01 AM PST Slide ‘n’ Touch is a programmable multi-touch remote control that syncs with your TV. The smooth-as-silk touchpad is easy to use and the sleek body is crafted from stainless steel and aluminum. Besides its user-friendly size, I totally dig the slim, chic minimal design. I'd pick the gold bezel one for me, what about you? Designer: Mike Flache ---------- |
